We only offer the real thing – solid, book-matched American hardwood from O'Hair Shutters™. O'Hair does not import cheap exotic laminate hardwood and glue it to a plywood core and they certainly do not take printed plastic and glue it to flimsy particleboard blanks.

Frankly, if other manufacturers used solid hardwood like we do, their shutters would cost two to three times as much as ours. The ideal solution for beauty and variety is to use a representative range of solid hardwood and a range of carefully selected stains rather than a half-dozen species of thin veneer.
